Just Another Thanksgiving....or not

So I know that it's been a while since I've posted anything but I've just been really busy and occupied. The trip was lots of fun. We left the Friday before at 5 in the evening and got into San Fran. at about 11:30 in the afternoon. We spent the week seeing the sights and doing tourist stuff it was fun I got to go to a few of my old haunts and hiked Sweney ridge. It was great. We went to the beach and did lots of stuff. For being a vacation I was exausted when we got back to Rexburg. I was totally echausted but I had a meeting at church about two hours later it was fun.....not really it was really hard to stay awake during church but that's what happens some times. I had fun a lot of interesting things happened too that i hope can be summed up in a few of these pictures. But I hope that they're enjoyable to see. And if I do say so myself these are some pretty good pictures. O yes this was the first pole that no one got correct the correct answer is Alien metal that's the material that is unbreakable that is used by the Dark Knight society.

Just Another Formal

Well this week has been fun. I've had lots of interesting things happen. First off this past Friday we had our fall formal. It was a lot of fun. I got my date, my friend Emily/Megan a corsage. My roommate Tyler came with us. We left as a big group to go out to eat before the formal to a Mexican place it was pretty good. My roommate Mohan was kind enough to lend us his car. So we took it there and too the dance. We had fun at the dance. They had two rooms one for regular "get your freak on" music and the other featured a live band that played all kinds of music. It was very well done. But as others said they did play a little too many slow songs. But hey it was fun. After the dance we went to Mcdonald's and got some McBlizzards that was interesting then to Jack in the Box for a milkshake. I was told to let them know I like their style. Which I honestly didn't really care for. Yesterday we speratically went to Quiznos I couldn't eat anything because our ward has our fast Sunday today. I believe because we are having our ward conference next week. So other then that. We're planning on having a meeting with the FHE Mom's and Dad's next Tuesday so we can talk about problems they might have and just about what we can do to elevate and strenthen each member of our groups. But that's about it. I'm just excited all the time for new experiences. Also at work yesterday my phone died multiple times while I was trying to make an important call it was extremly frustrating. I had to charge it twice yesterday!! How crazy is that? I wasn't pleased. Anyway I'm just glad it's Sunday. That's all for now also the answer to last weeks poll was Zeo.

Just Another Casual Day

Funny things have happened this week and some intresting things. First off the other day I went to Wall Mart to get a new phone card. On the way in I used the automatic doors to get in as I was going in a little boy quickly ran up to the door and when the doors opened he was going to get crushed by the doors but I jumped over to him and pulled the door away. He seemed unphased by what had just happened. I was breathing heavily and was very relieved. He was maybe two or three I thought that wouldn't have been good at all if I had done nothing. Afterwards the little boy just walked over to his parents and they didn't seem to care. I walked in relieved. An elderly couple went over to the parents and reproached them severely. Also I was working yesterday and every assignment I had was ok they didn't really need me there. I was somewhat perplexed to go and not do anything at all. I felt like I was kind of just hanging around. I didn't really know what to do. So I just sat around and directed people to the right theater hall of building. During the big group date/ Activity yesterday it snowed for about half an hour then quickly melted. The little tiny hail resembled little white kisses. I thought that was neat. In my job were required to have our phone on all the time but it keeps dying. I'm very upset with that. I realized what I would really like for my birthday. I would love to have a new phone. Preferably an Iphone but I'm realistic. This really stinks but what can you do but just deal with it? Anyway that's what's happening here. By the way the answer to the poll last week was Ace. Ardes is the name of Zeno's sword. Illaden is Rook's uncle. Ace is the correct answer.

Just Another Exhausting Day

Well today has been a lot of fun. First I went to work at 7 in the morning to the Kirkham for a student ambassador's meeting. I helped them set everything up then I left and went home. When I got home I did some homework but I really wanted to go for a run. So I did then came back really tired. I started doing some more homework and then my roommates invited me to go with them to go swimming. It was fun but I was basically dead when I got home. I had to work this huge event that evening it was going to be really big. When I got there really late a friend of mine came with me and having her there doing crowd control with me REALLY helped a lot. I was very grateful to have her help because my coworkers were working the other side of the building. My crowd was absurdly huge and they were all very surely and angery I tried my best to keep them under control but it was kind of in vain. I tried to keep everyone moving. I walked the entire line about ten times and each time it got bigger!! Man that was crazy! I was able to sit with some of my friends for the rest of the show. We were talking and laughing the whole time when a guy in front of us told us to be quiet so we did. Afterwards there was this awesome dance and we all got our freak on. Then we went out to get a Jamba Juice before curfew and barely got back in time. It was exausting but I had a ton of fun. Nunca hay un dia aburrido ni malo aqui;)

Just another Perplexing day

You ever have one of those days where you just don't know what to do? You try to stay on top of things as much as possible but the jinga blocks just topple over onto you and it's like this unavoidable cataclysm. I feel like that some times. It's as if no matter what you do someone is going to get hurt. I don't want it to be that way... Life is for experience right? This is my time of probation. This is my time to make it as I will correct? I guess eventually you gotta run with the punches. And bite the bullet. Because you can't win amoghts fools.

Just another weekly survey result #1

Well first off I am delightfully impressed with those of you who guessed correctly if I were present I would give you some kind of prize for listening to my insessent droaning of my stories and ideas. The following will give the true answers: 1) Dark Blade- Never Existed in the first place, however the real "Blade" still does exist but her whereabouts are unknown. I doubt Zeno would consider the location of his renagade mother important. 2)Zeno- For those who don't know did not even exist during the time of the watchers and would never have partisipated in the rebellion in the first place. He is the hero of nearly all the BA series and the Supreme Grand DK master. So not it's not him. 3)Dark Pheonix- *Ding* *Ding* yes we have a winner. Tecnically this is not true either because during this time Dark Pheonix was known by his real name (Thelsadaeous) and later changed it to reflect distain for his former master, Pheonix. But he was the insighter of this rebellion that nearly destroyed the Galaxy. 4)Zannidus- Sorry he didn't even exist at this time. He didn't even live in that particular dimention. He later came into focus as "Rage/Dragon man's" long lost brother who shares his same passion for anger. Zannidus was later killed in the battle to close the dark portal that opened the gateway to the Abyss...The portal was closed forever. Just another cold week

Well as one might guess from the title it has been fairly nippy this past week and yesterday (Saturday 29th) it snowed. I would have gotten pictures but unfortunatly it wasn't sticky snow but rather it was snow flakes that melted immediatly when it hit the ground. I went out fully prepared. I told my roommate Tyler that they all laughed at me when I brought two beanies but now who's laughing. I went on a big group date last night and it went "well" we apparently got there late...well in actuality we got there earlier then expected. I told my friend who was orcestrating it that we'd be there asap. But they started without us anyway. So that was interesting. It was fun and the cold wind stopped while we were out it was fun. I also recieved a new calling in my ward I'm now a Family Home Evening Supervisor for the ward. I'm excited to get in to the thick of things and get busy. There is always soooo much to do it's great. I love it here. I'm glad that every 'typical day' isn't a 'normal day'.

Just another typical Saturday.....I wish

So yesterday I had to wake up and hike up to the Hinkley Building at 7 in the morning for a conference that I was assigned to. It was a literacy conference that lasted most of the day. I didn't do much but it was still fun. I put juice in the fridge, moved tables and set up chairs and unlocked doors. It was lots of fun and in my down time I did some homework. I left at about 10 came home and ate something then I went up to the MC to help set up for a huge conference that was happening that evening. After getting back at 4 I took a shower did some more homework and then got ready for our big group date that evening. It was a lot of fun I went to pick up my date. Then we met up with everybody else. We went on a photo scavenger hunt. It was lots of fun. We thankfully didn't have to walk too far but I believe we had the superior pictures. One of them had us prosolyting to some people in the street that was fun.Afterward we saw a slide show of everybodys pictures then we had hot coco and smores. Some of my roomates were there and then we had a great time I would have gotten more pictures but not everybody was up to taking more they were all pretty tired. Funny thing after I dropped off my date for the evening her roomates were coming home from a corn maze and I asked, "How did it go?" and one said, "It was AMAZING" O my goodness then I said, "That has go to be the corniest thing I've heard all day....." LOL. But yesterday it was raining a bit and a huge rainbow came out at from where we were it looked like it was touching the temple here is the picture.

Just another Day...at work

Well I just got back a few minutes ago from my C.P.R/A.E.D training class for those who have no idea what I'm talking about A.E.D stands for Automatic External Defibrillator. It was a lot of fun and I'm officially certified. I'm also excited to hear that I officially have my degree in Liberal studies. I'm excited on all fronts. I work as an Assistant event coordinator on campus. Which means I am in charge of making sure any event whether sporting, theatrical, musical or religious. I'm there to make sure everything is going super awesome. I handle the complaints from both the clients and the janitorial staff so it's been fun so far. The other people I work with are great and dedicated to doing a good job as well. I enjoy it. It is low stress and it allows me to get my homework done. I have a big event going on this Saturday. I have to be there at 7:30 in the morning until about 4 so I'll get my shopping and laundry done Friday. That will be fun.

Just Another Day

It's just another Day in the life of me. My first Blog feels weird.I've got lots of homework here at school. I'm trying to keep everything up to date and good to go. I apologize for this medioker boring post but whatever. I promise I'll have more interesting stuff to post next time. I have this awsome activity planned for this weekend it should be good. I'll have lots of pictures and stuff you'll see it will be cool. Hope to see you either by then or before then.
